2023 was a year marked by really high highs counte

2023 was a year marked by really high highs countered by extremely low lows. I had one of the best birthdays I’ve ever had surrounded by friends new and old, I finally took control of my financial situation, I held my best friend’s baby, I nurtured hobbies and resuscitated my social life, I adopted Phoenix 🐱, and to my own surprise I fell in love again. I also had to say a tearful goodbye to my darling Nibs, had my heart broken, navigated countless medical issues, and have been dealing with the after-effects of multi-round layoffs at my day job—not to mention the hellscape that is the state of the world in general.

Despite all of the tough lessons, goodbyes, heartbreak, and unforeseen change this year brought, I’m eternally grateful for the friends, family, and colleagues who get me through the tough moments and find ways to inject joy and purpose into this little life of mine. Who remind me to stand up and take action for what’s important, who foster my talent and encourage me to pursue my interests, who make me laugh and inspire me and challenge me in healthy ways.

2024, please be good to me, to all of us. We’ve had ✨enough✨
