Cats in My Closet is a blog from a cat lady’s perspective based in Brooklyn, New York. Founded in 2012, Cats in My Closet is geared towards folks who want to break the mold of elitism and reclaim fashion as a means of self-expression. Coming from a lady whose clothes are perpetually covered in cat hair, style is not about being perfect but about creating outfits that represent YOU.  In a world of instant gratification, viral content, and highlight reels, I want to encourage my readers to be their most authentic selves through what they choose to wear.

What to Expect

Frequent posts include outfit snaps, sartorial inspiration, and wishlists, although I am working to offer lifestyle content such as DIYs and beauty posts.  I value authenticity (Enneagram 4, here), so outside of fashion, I make it a point to regularly discuss current events and personal experiences to create an engaging and informative atmosphere for readers.

As  the blog grows, Cats in My Closet plans to expand in the realms of video and podcasting, with the ultimate goal being the launch of an online shop, where users can purchase e-courses, apparel, and accessories.  If you have any suggestions on what you’d like to see, please send an email–I’m all ears!
