I decided to treat myself to this sassy sweatshirt a few months back (aka my bread and butter, let’s be real, I love all things sass.) Because I’m a cold-hearted wench, I originally bought this garment to spite Valentine’s Day, but I’ve also realized that it works equally well at repelling jerk offs at the bar. Apparently it also looks amazing surrounded by Spring’s latest offerings. #blessed

As most of you know, I’ve been working with one of my besties and part-time blog photographer Stephanie Stein on a special project. Well, now’s the time I can officially tell you that WE ARE LAUNCHING A FASHION MAGAZINE!!!!1!!11!1
The magazine, Monachopsis, is in the embryonic stages right now (we’re compiling budgets, registering our business, developing the website, finalizing content and marketing plans) but it’s an idea that we’ve been throwing around between ourselves for almost a year. To be frank, we were sick and tired of the lack of representation that the fashion industry currently has to offer, especially in print publishing. I’ll be sure to elaborate in a future blog post, but we’re aiming to launch our crowdfunding site in late May, with the first print issue to release in October.
I’m extremely nervous, as I’ve never attempted anything on this large of a scale ever in my LIFE, but I also know that Stephanie and I, along with other contributors, have what it takes to bring down the patriarchy that has taken the fashion world by a chokehold. We want representation to be a priority, and not just a buzzword. More details to come soon, so stay tuned and be sure to follow our Instagram to get live updates.
